Hi Ladies. Today I am going to do review of Kama Ayurveda Pure Vetiver Water Face and Body Mist Review. Summer season is an enemy of the skin. I have sensitive skin and usually end up getting rashes because of heat and pollution here in Delhi. I am sure girls living in humid places like Mumbai have it even worse 🙂 . Skin soothing products are a must for summer months.
Kama Ayurveda’s Pure Vetiver Face and Body was is made by steam distilling Vetiver grass. Vetiver grass is a native of Northern and Western India (thumbs up for amazing natural skin care products found in India). Commonly known as ‘Khus’ in North India it is known for it’s cooling properties. Vetiver has been used as a cooling drink in India since times immemorial. Apart from having a cooling effect Vetiver or Khas also has medicinal properties. It is a natural astringent. Meaning it hydrates the skin and restores it’s pH balance. It tightens the pores of the skin. This means it is great for those who have enlarged skin pores.
Kama Ayurveda has taken this natural cooler and transformed it into a body mist. It is priced at Rs 175 for a 50ml bottle. The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacturing.
Packaging
The product come in a cylindrical bottle with a spray pump attached. The bottle is handy and can be carried easily in a hand bag or even a clutch bag.
How to Use It?
The mist can be used both on face and body. For using it on the face first wash/cleanse the face. This will get rid of the grime and pollution. Hold the bottle abut 6 inches from the face. With eyes closed pump all over the face. 2-3 pumps gives me the coverage I need. This will deposit the mist all over the face. Next gently dab it in with finger tips.
Kama Ayurveda Pure Vetiver Water Face and Body Mist can be applied on the body after a bath. I like to apply it all over my body after a hard and tiring day. The aroma is relaxing and helps me to sleep well.
Ingredients & Manufacturing Process
The label on the packaging does not list the products used. It has been produced using steam distillation process which makes it hygienic.
