Summers are here and it is a great time to take a look at Nivea summer care range. I think Nivea makes excellent skin care products. I cannot do without their products in any season. Skin needs special treatment during summers. In this blog I am going to tell you how I plan to take care of my skin this summer with a budget of no more than Rs750 per month.
This summer I plan pamper my skin with Nivea Moisturizing Sun Lotion before stepping out. This is a SPF 30 & PA++ lotion. You can learn more about what these ratings mean with this excellent video. SPF 30 (SPF 50 is also available) is a good enough protection against UVB radiation for me. PA++ will offer me great UVA protection. A thick layer of this lotion half an hour before stepping out in the sun will give me sufficient protection.

Since it is lotion based and non sticky it is also great for people with oily or combination skin or those skin types which are prone to acne.
75ml SPF30 is priced at Rs199 while 75ml SPF50 is priced at Rs299. My recommendation is go with SPF30. I think 75ml will last about a month as I only have to apply it on exposed skin. Also I will not be needing a sunscreen since this moisturizing sun lotion has enough sun protection built in.
The second Nivea product that I will like to use this summer is Nivea Whitening Deo. I have to run around a lot for shooting videos for my Youtube channel and a deo is a must for me. The fragrance is great and can be even be used by sensitive skin types. This deo is 100% alcohol free. This will also take care of my underarms. It contains Licorice extracts which give underarms a fairer and even tone. Also as I mentioned above the fragrance is gentle which I like. The price is a very reasonable Rs 199. I think one bottle should last at least a month.

On days when I am mostly inside I will use Nivea Extra Whitening Body Lotion. This product has SPF15 which will offer some protection against the sun. It has 50 times more vitamin C which repairs dull and damaged skin. Vitamin C is also helpful in removing sun tan.
