Curves are the new Size Zero and back in fashion. Vidya Balan always had it & Sonakshi Sinha is going the curvy way. Brands are going all out to cater to this trend. Being plus size doesn’t mean baggy clothes anymore. If you think there are not enough plus sized options out there, don’t fret.
Plus Size Clothing From Gia
Gia, the plus sized apparel brand by Westside offers clothes for every occasion from casuals to office wear that ooze style and at the same time embrace those sexy curves that will make you radiate with confidence.
Gia offers apparel with a special fit derived for the curvy customer especially on bottom-wear. A Gia bottom is made with stretch fabrics and stretchable waists that gives you it an even look and make your legs look slender. The leaner denims fit so well that it tucks the thighs in as well as the tummy give you a lean look allover.
Gone are the days of only boot cut and straight fit, Lean is in and Gia has a collection of lean fit denims that are so comfortable and fits just right from hip to toe. Available in which dark and medium washes these are “feel one size smaller denims” to accentuate your curves.
Wide necklines, embellished sleeves, long tops, bright colour and bold prints are perfect to accentuate your curves. Read on to find out some of the latest trends in plus sized dressing.
T-shape tops are the must haves this season; they take the focus of your hips and are comfortable too. Also try puffed sleeves, gathered/ruched sleeves or fluted/flared sleeves that end just below your bust.
Do not opt for round necks or anything too close to your neck instead go in for wide necklines also flatter as they draw a line out and up. Boat necks, sweetheart necks, large cowls and wide V-necks are also a good choice. Avoid tops that have narrow V-necks, dolman sleeves, raglan sleeves and heavily gathered necklines, which can all reduce the width of your shoulders and make you look stumpy.
Wear prints but make wise choices. You can try large placement prints on t-shirts and tunics as they take off some weight. Prints are a way of showing your confidence, so do not hesitate to experiment.
Colors and Cuts that suit curvy/plus size women – cover the hip is the key as it adds length to the torso and makes one look leaner.
Go in for long accessories. A long necklace with a delicate pendant, don’t choose a chunky pendant. Do not wear anything to close to the neck as it will make you look plump.
At the end of the day it’s about what you feel from within and not about being fit or fat. Anybody can look great, anybody can look sexy – everything starts from the mind and ends at happiness. Gia offers you the best & latest international trends specially altered to meet your needs. Gia has special fits and styles to accentuate your curves. So embrace those curves and you will look and feel absolutely amazing.
Gia offers a complete range from day casuals to eveningwear for sizes 16 to 24. Priced from 399/- on wards Gia is a plus sized shopping haven.

Please let me know if you ever open another outlet. love the clothes you design good luck
You have stopped making office clothes. I used to buy office shirts / tops from westside; but since the last couple of years you have been releasing only casual/printed stuff that one cant wear to office Mon-Thu; no formal office shirts/tops. even trousers are only denims, and linen. have left feedback at westside stores but dont see any change in the line-up.

I am so happy to find plus size clothes in west side jodhpur outlet. I bought a plus size to shirt for 399 today and I love it.
Please can you also introduce the same thing with kurtis which would look great with the trousers and jeans.
Thanks once for again for thinking of the plus size people.

Hi I purchased quite a few GIA shrugs from THANE & POWAI outlets of WESTSIDE only later to know sadly they do not have the facility to ALTER them , Was told they need some special machine s called interlock or something not sure was told by one of the staff
Would Be GREAT if U could tell me were I can alter them please Since they are so Expensive & Grand looking Please , Have a Few to Alter Not Sure WAT to do since they are dangling on me , Would be G8 if U REVERT Regrds SONIA
I am regularly checking out Gia clothings for plus size and I am happy with the style sensibility. However, I am greatly upset that all the recent patterns of tops in Westside have golden buttons fixed on them regardless of style, colour etc of the top. This is highly unimaginative. Please fix nicer looking and more stylish understated buttons to your tops. This is imperative.
Also I find less of good quality cotton tops. Westside has them upto size XXL and nothing higher than that. These are the kurtis-tops which go well for Indo western outfits. Can Gia not make these for plus size? Right now i find most of the tops are knitted or synthetic material. Please take this suggestion seriously.
Thanks
Medha
