The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet Review

Hi beautiful ladies. I am back with a blog post after a long long break. I have been so busy with my makeup and beauty Youtube channel that I could not give time and attention to the blog. But now I have decided to turn over a new leaf and blog regularly.

So my first blog, after a long break, is review of The Body Shop Moringa Body Sorbet. Who doesn’t love The Body Shop. Their products are amazing and the brand philosophy of giving back to the community (from which products are sourced), green responsibility, no animal cruelty etc. makes me feel happy when I use The Body Shop products.

Recently The Body Shop launched a new range of products for summers. These products are;
Summer Refreshment Sorbet
Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet (Review to come later)

The Body Shop Summer Sorbet Review

The Summer Sorbet is available in two fruity flavours (Strawberry & Satsuma) and one floral fragrance (Moringa, Which is reviewed here).

Storage Tip: Store your sorbets for face or body in the fridge for an even more refreshing moisture sensation.

The body sorbets are good for use all year round, but they are perfect for summer seasons. Especially Indian summers :). If you have dry/very dry skin you should consider using a body cream.

The Body Shop Body Sorbet (Moringa) is priced at Rs 795 for a 200ml bottle.

Usage & Experience

The body sorbet as the name suggest is to be applied on the body. It should not be applied on the face. The sorbet has a very distinct and mild fragrance. It is non greasy and spreads evenly on the skin. About two tablespoons was sufficient for me to cover the entire body with a refreshing coat of the sorbet.

I am applying it daily since last one week. I apply after my morning and evening baths. It refreshes the skin almost immediately. The fragrance has aroma-therapeutic effect on me. The skin feels fresh and supple. The product gets absorbed in the skin very easily and in non greasy. This is a big plus for me.

If you skin is very dry (even in summers) then this product may not be suitable for you. In that case you should consider the body cream or body butter.

Store the sorbet in the fridge. This adds to it’s cooling effect.
