Some cheerful news today on ocassion of The Earth Day.
The Body Shop has launced a brand new initiative called “Wood Positive”. Under this initiative The Body Shop will plant more trees than are cut down for its packaging needs every year. The initiative will be launched today on the occasion of the earth day. Consumers will be able to identify “Wood Positive” packaging from a logo which will appear on the packaging. The company uses about 6000 tonnes of paper and pulp every year for its packaging needs. The Body Shop already uses as less packaging as possible.
The Body Shop has already planted more than 55,000 trees in the Ecuadorian Andeand and Atlantic Rainforests.
Good initiative Body Shop 🙂
